| Breitling CHRONO-MATIC 49: the official chronograph of the 2010 National Championship Air Races & Air Show. |
Dacole Company is excited to announce that this year’s limited edition Breitling being produced for the Air Races is a Chrono-Matic 49. The Reno National Championship Air Races logo will be on the dial and the limited edition number will be engraved on the back of the case. There will only be 50 of these limited edition jewels available, so act fast!
CHRONO-MATIC 49
In 1969, Breitling created the first self-winding chronograph movement, an invention that would lead to the development of a whole range of chronographs named Chrono-Matic. Today’s 49 mm-diameter Chrono-Matic is a tribute to this forerunner of extremely large watches. This descendant of the Navitimer line – witness the slide rule – is distinguished by its resolutely modern Sixties design exemplified in the taut, angular lines of the case. The dial bears the brand symbol used from the 1950s throught 1970s, with the Breitling name topped by a gold initial B. The straight hands, the design of the totalizers and the woven steel Aero Classic bracelet are all nods to the aesthetic style of the era. The rotating pinion bezel driving the slide rule is built from rubber-molded steel. The Chrono-Matic 49 is powered by the 38-jewel Caliber 14, officially chronometer-certified by the COSC.
We are pleased to offer you not only the opportunity to purchase this Breitling prior to the races, but to do so at the unprecedented special price of USD $4700, as depicted at left with a leather strap and steel tang buckle. The price with an Aero Classic Steel Bracelet is $5240. This represents a savings of $1620 off of the regular purchase price of this watch! If you have a number preference, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Please call Nema Loux at 775-322-1881 if you would like to purchase this Limited Edition Breitling. We look forward to hearing from you, and if you are attending the Air Races, please visit the Breitling display!
